Mage's Cabal

The Mage's Cabal is a group of very powerful wizards who operate and run the School of Eight Pyramids. There are always eight members of the Mage's Cabal. Each member of the Mage's Cabal is a master in one school of magic and each of those members is the headmaster of one pyramid (each pyramid is dedicated to one type of school of magic).
Current Members:
Verdell Ignace (Human) (Abjeration Specialist): Verdell Ignace is the oldest member of the Cabal as well as the leader of the Cabal. Verdell Ignace grew up in the impoverished village of Mire. Verdell Ignace due to being born into a poor family had no education. When Verdell was 8 years old he snuck onto a merchants cart and traveled around Yershmier. When Verdell arrived at Avenia he started stealing and working so he could get enough money to get an education. When Verdell was 14 years old he finally made enough money to go to the School of Eight Pyramids. Verdell studied Abjeration and became a teacher at the School. It took many years but he became a mage in the Cabal.
Loradi Mossfell (Elf) (Conjuration Specialist): Loradi is the youngest member of the Cabal and the only female member. Loradi was born in the city of Nerferk, when she was ten years old she moved to the feywild with her parents. There she realized she had a knack for the arcane especially conjuration. She stayed in the feywild until she was of age, then she moved to Avenia and became a teacher in the conjuration pyramid. It took many years but she soon became a member of the Mage's Cabal.
Sebod (Tortle) (Divination Specialist):Sebod was born in the city of Rider. Sebod was never interested in joining the tavern or the entertainer business. Sebod always found the aspect of seeing and perceiving interesting. Sebod convinced his parents to send him to Avenia. There he studied Divination, and due to his ability to live a long time he became proficient in Divination. Sebod became part of the Cabal after he helped stop an attack against Avenia.
Hom Zai (Human) (Enchantment Specialist): Hom Zai is the youngest member of the Cabal. The only reason Hom Zai got into the Cabal is because he used his Enchantment skills to influence his higher ups. Hom Zai is a very powerful and pretty evil magician. Hom Zai is addicted to power and wishes he could control the rest of the members of the Cabal. Hom Zai wishes to control the Cabal from behind so he can control the school and the city without anyone knowing. A few members of the Cabal suspect his hidden intentions but they haven't said anything because Hom is a very powerful and helpful member of the Cabal.
Brar Malrut (Tiefling) (Evocation Specialist): Brar is not only a member of the Cabal but he is a very powerful Sunspot. Brar was born to an influential noble family in Dopplesterne. Due to Dopplesterne's number of temples, Brar grew worshiping Eurhelles. As is with most children of nobles Brar was sent to be a Freiwillige. In the first trial Brar barely survived the adventure to Anrufpunkt. With the second trial he aced the test. And with the third trial he did very well, which allowed him to be a Sunspot. When his six year training was done he was told to be positioned in Avenia. When in Avenia he started studying in the Eight Pyramid School. After years of studying and protecting the city Brar was given a spot in the Cabal
Yeam (Changeling) (Illusion Specialist): Yeam is a changeling follower of Eursreich. Yeam has become a very good Illusionist due to their connection to Eurstreich and their ability to change their form. Yeam doesn't like to show their true form so they usually disguise themselves as a dwarf named Malrak. When Yeam used to be a teacher before they were part of the Cabal, they disguised themselves as a half-elf named Elsys.
Garron Alcot (Human?) (Necromancy Specialist): Garron Alcot was born in the Shadowfell. His parents were criminals who were sentenced to live in the Shadowfell. When Garon was born he wasn't given a name he was just referred to as Kid. Since Garron lived in the Shadowfell for most of his life his appearance is very different from most humans. Garron's parents were killed by a shadow as Garron watched. Garron wandered the Shadowfell until he was 18 which is when he found a way to escape the Shadowfell. When he left the Shadowfell he arrived in Avenia. He lived on the streets for a long time until a teacher from the School of Eight Pyramids saw potential in him and gave him a name and started teaching him magic. Due to his connection to the Shadowfell, Garron became a very powerful necromancer. When his teacher died Garron took over his position as a teacher. The Cabal saw great potential in him and allowed him to join the Cabal. Garron scares many members of the Cabal, due to his appearance and his great necromantic power.
Eramin Glenleaf (Halfling) (Transmutation Specialist): Eramin is a very powerful Transmutation Specialist. Eramin was born and grew up in Avenia. He went to the Eight Pyramid School and studied Transmutation. He became a teacher and later became a member of the Cabal. Eramin is a prankster by heart, he will constantly play pranks on other members, which has caused him to get on the bad side of a few members.
PAST NOTABLE MEMBERS:
Thorburn Denucos (Human) (Enchantment Specialist): Thorburn used to be the Enchantment Specialist in the Cabal. Thorburn was kicked out of the Cabal due to a number of disagreements with other members. Thorburn later became the creator of Molten Nectar. Thorburn was killed by one of his old students (Baron Singlesoar) who created Fainter's Mead.
Vanovar Osril (Half-elf) (Conjuration Specialist): Vanovar is the founder of the School of Eight Pyramids and the Mages Cabal. Vanovar saw that Avenia had a number of libraries and thought that people needed a way to learn certain types of magic. Originally the School of Eight Pyramids was known as the School of Seven Pyramids because students weren't allowed to learn Necromancy. Vanovar died due to health complications.

Thorum Hollowedge (Duergar) (Necromancy Specialist): Thorum was the member of the Cabal advocated that Necromancy should be allowed in the school of Seven Pyramids and that the school should have Eight Pyramids. Thorum managed to convince the Cabal and became the Necromancy Specialist. Unfortunately Thorum was killed by an Evocation Student who believed Necromancy is evil. A statue of Thorum was erected in front of the Necromancy Pyramid.
