Industry & Trade

Lorian Elyria deals primarily in tourism, hospitality, and artisan goods. The town is right against the main trade route between EK and NAK, so visitors stop here to take in the lay of the land, drop off supplies, and pay import taxes. Money changing is important too. Artisan goods, especially jams, jellies, and wines are produced in Lorian Elyria through their large lilacberry vineyards.

Districts

On main street, tightly stacked and squeezed stores sell everything from jams to medicines, and the road is red brick. The shopping district stores tend to overhang into the street, making it even more overwhelming to walk through (and easier for street sellers to catch a poor passerby). Surrounding this main path are the lodgings, food, and entertainment. This section of Lorian Elyria comes alive at night with music and lights. Once you get off the main road, the beauty of the countryside really shines, with lush lilacberry vineyards on gentle rolling hills. The larger, more expensive hotels and resort homes are built here. A large outdoor amphitheater, built into the hills surrounding it, hosts community concert series in the peak tourist times.
