The world of Yddrasil is one of tentative peace. The Human-ruled Kingdom of Valaria lives in posterity with the Elves and Dwarves on the continent of the same name. Less than a century off from a bloody invasion of an Orc and Dragonborn alliance from the neighboring continent of Agramesh, the scars are still there, but most of the citizens are ready to forget and move on. However, the King of Valaria has recently passed, leaving his son to rule the kingdom. Can the young ruler maintain the peace his father had accomplished? Or will separate parties try to take advantage of the new king's naivete.
One such party is the Black Hand, a cult from an age long past who has recently resurfaced. But what are their intentions? What is their endgame, and through what means will they achieve that goal?
