Alter

Alters are the elite citizens of Xyn who aid Sylas and Edyn in managing Boards of Choice throughout Xyn.
Each Alter that Edyn and Sylas choose is put through a Destiny simulation, which is one service below War. War is meant to kill you, but Destiny is meant to prove your ability to adapt to change. In each simulation, the Alter has their reality shifted three times over three days. In each reality, the Alter has to figure out how to adapt to constantly changing choices. Throughout these three days, the Council determines the individual personalities of the Alter and which service to the Board of Choice they’ll control during their seventy month service - Grateful, Ivory, Blemished, Luck, Probationary, Destiny, and War.
