Emperor of a Thousand Eyes
The Unknown Emperor (a.k.a. 'The Thousand Eyes')
My grandmother's mother had met him, you know? Her father worked in the Imperial Palace, and he even carved runes for him. There were so many stories about that experience, the unshakable feeling of evil, the way he watched them. No one believed him. They said he was touched by madness.
Turned out he was right.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Many witnesses claimed to have seen the Emperor. Many more recall tales from extended family members. None have agreed on his appearance. However, three main features are consistent with nearly every recollection.
The Emperor was tall and eerily thin. His bones were visible, and his clothing loosely hung from his shoulders. His face was long, thin, familiar, yet unrecognizable. Some claim that his eyes were hollow, while others have said he was blinded, the crown he stole too heavy.

Personal history
The Emperor of Trel, 'The Thousand Eyes,' is a figure wrapped in mystery. Nothing was known about him before he founded the Empire, appearing suddenly among the Jarn and throwing the establishment into chaos. His name, physical description, and bloodline cannot be found in any historical record. Those who saw him can only vaguely remember his presence, like someone awakening from a horrid dream each time the Emperor returned to his isolation.
Yet all eyes were upon him as he strode through the throne room of the Jarn, sword in hand. It was the first time anyone had lain eyes on him, and in a sickening moment, his true nature was laid bare before those gathered. The young king had been slain before any of the guards could react, his severed head lifted above the head of the new Emperor. Without any pomp, he pried the crown off and placed the bloody crown upon his head, proclaiming himself the master of the two nations. Black bile poured from the accursed crown, blinding his eyes as it covered his features.
His followers burst into the throne room, their features twisted by an unquenchable madness. Ravaging through those gathered, they feasted upon the fattened nobility, burning anything they could. In the silent aftermath, they found themselves alone. The Emperor was gone.
The Emperor has returned from his isolation several times, leaving betrayal and sorrow in his wake. The Emperor of a Thousand Eyes had commissioned the rebuilding of the Imperial Palace. It was the same Emperor who betrayed their trust, trapping their bodies and souls within the walls forever.
Morality & Philosophy
Remembered as a creature of thinly veiled hatred, he would burst into pure, unbridled rage without warning, only to hide anew behind a jovial mask. Malice filled every word he spoke, and those who marched alongside him fell into uncontrollable frenzies.
