This goes for the areas around lakes and rivers, the one place where it does reach an ocean, and everywhere in between.
Most of the humans here tend to be Plainsfolk Who tend to be the most warlike of humans. This is of Little Wonder as there are not that many physical features that can easily secure borders across this land.
