What were once island tribes now form a capable confederacy.
Military
While The Whispering Islands do not have significant land mass with which to make weapons or troops, they do have a significant navy which is supported by their mithril technologies.
Technological Level
Though not advanced in the ways of arcane magic, the veldalken have invented wonders often mistaken for magic.
Religion
The people of the Whispering Confederacy do not pray to the gods very often. They do, however, pray to ancestral spirits and from them collect a sort of divine magic.
Foreign Relations
The Whispering Islands, though distant, feel the influences of The Empire of Xolis. The feel a degree of pity for those made "colonists" by the Empire, and they are often paranoid of people who they see as "agents" of the empire. Few Vedalken will make the effort to understand the polical differences between a Genasi, Mantle, or Lepidorean.
