Lepidorean

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Lepidorean evolved from the fey-wilds long ago. They are a bipedal race similar in stature to humans or elves. They retained their wings as they grew larger, but can no longer fly. Although some individuals can glide for short periods of time.

Civilization and Culture

History

Long ago proto-Lepidorean emerged from the fey-wilds. As they grew into smarter and fuller beings they congregated into two sub-species: The moth-like winter-Lepidorean and the butterfly-like summer-Lepidorean.
For eons they have guarded Xolis from chaotic and evil fey, while negotiating with friendly creatures.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The Lepidorean prefer isolation. The winter court has functionally closed off all contact with the outside occasionally sending envoys to their neighbors in The Empire. The summer court keeps to itself aswell, but trades unique tropical goods across Greand.

40 years
