Kallah Root
A purple, zig-zag shaped tuber/root, with white hair, head and tail.
Fairly difficult to find, harvest and retrieve.
Often used in various oils and ointments to soothe aching joints and other ailments.
Occasionally, small amounts may be used as a seasoning or added to a stew, though usually only if the chef - or intended consumer - is thought to have an ailment curable by this root.
Concentrated drops of Kallah Root oil may be ingested daily as something like an equivalent to antibiotics in our world.
