Xillick

So far, the tale of the world of Xillick centres around a bustling city-state; Vizzen, nestled along the Blessed Coast, and the State of An-Kerrar, along the Shivering Pass, seated within the Dread Range.   A magical, varied, and interesting world, with swashbuckling, yet well-meaning pirates, less well-meaning leprechauns, strange attacks by interplanar forces, a secret Society ruling a nation from the shadows, and an almighty divine battle brewing between the world's deities.   Secrets and strange magics abound, and the gods are growing tired of sitting back.   Beyond it all, a curious, psychological conflict occurs within the mind of a creature long-dead, threatening to consume its inhabitants.   Can a band of amateur, intrepid adventurers pull together in time to save the world, and people, they love?   Will their curiosity lead them to the answers they need... or will it lead them to a series of outrageously sticky situations?   Can they band together and find enough strength within one another to defeat the forces of evil descending ... or will rash actions and selfish choices be their ultimate undoing?   Xillick was created to serve as the world in which my homebrew campaign is set. Also some of the food in Vilasien - once I get around to transcribing it here - is totally lit. Sit back and grab some popcorn, because my players have no idea what's coming for them.
