High Priest/Priestess
These folks are effectively the "Managers" of their god's respective temples and shrines, ensuring other acolytes are maintaining upkeep, dealing with issues big and small, organising/organizing significant offerings or celebrations, coordinating finances, etc.
They are often deeply devoted to their gods; having possibly even seen or conversed with them before.
Each High Priest/ess has their own individual approach to their position and their own unique relationship to their god.

Other Benefits
Most High Priests/Priestesses are quite well respected and admired in Vilasien.
The people consider it an essential job, and an important part of their more theistically grounded economy.
High Priests/Priestesses are often the recipients of gifts or favours from passing travellers, adventurers, local worshippers, congregants or neighbours, and law-makers and -keepers within the city.
They are treated with significant gravity, with one or two exceptions.
Often the extent of these benefits hinges on the knowledge and opinion the general population has of the god the High Priest/ess works for, as well as their own carriage, choices and personality.
