Barand
Honeyed-and-peppered fowl, which can be consumed on a stick or as a sit-down meal.
Usually served with various vegetables, such as the kallah root, and with some kind of grain.
When done so, the overall effect is that the meal has an oddly similar appearance to dahl and madras (curry) in appearance.
Very common, and very popular, in Vilasien and the surrounding areas and towns.
