The Main Character
Lotus Princess Miyue Yuan
A 16 year old American girl in the body of a 14 year old princess of the world of XiaYuan. Before she was the princess, she was dying of cancer. She contracted it at age 11, and it spread to her brain. Knowing she didn't have long to live, she took herself home from the hospital and drank, smoked and drugged herself to death. She was given a second chance by the Ferry Maker system and intends to use it to her advantage.

Personal history
Miette had known she was going to die from the age of eleven. She knew that there was no chance of survival with malignant tumors in your brain. It was just a matter of time. While her parents grieved a girl who wasn't dead, she drank, partied and took every kind of drug she could. She survived until she was sixteen, but in her dark moments, she wished she could just end it. She drugged and drank herself to death when they gave her the news.
