The Metal Artisans

An ancient guild said to have been started in the days after Liberium Bellum. The group is made up of many talented and gifted smiths. The group is headquartered in the inside of a mountain, in the country of Vinovo, in a place called the Golden Kiln. Here many among them gather to make, sell, and exchange ideas on their own individual crafts. Members of this group have served the common people, royalty, and people in between, holding true to their skills and craft. Among the group there are three levels of membership, with a special level reserved for specific individuals, designated by the color of a flame:
Red Flame The lowest and most entry level of the guild. Filled with many hopefuls who are apprentices to higher level members. This level has the most members as many come in at this level, but many also give up as they don't go any higher. Most at this level spend their days as assistants and learning all they can from others.
Yellow Flame The second highest level of the guild, where the craftsman are more adept and knowledgeable about their works. Those at this level own their own shops and usually work within communities and cities to help with everything from supplying weapons and armor to the armies and guards to making horse shoes. Those who reach this level usually stay here for the rest of their time within the guild, as the level guarantees good business and a comfortable life. A few take apprentices at this level, hoping that they may surpass them in some ways.
Blue Flame This is the highest level a normal member can obtain within the guild through normal means. This level only holds a handful of members at any one time, as those at this level are not only skilled craftsman, but also specialist in their own craft. Some at this level choose to open their own shop, and others choose to become freelancers, offering their talents where they want and travel as they do so. Royalty of all kinds ask for smiths of this level to make weapons, armor, and all sorts of trinkets for them. Many at this level have their skills highly sought after, as their skillsets are worth a nation. Finding one of this level is one thing, getting them to make you something of any kind is a whole other task.
and the special level:
White Flame This level is reserved for two types of people: The leader of the guild and the champion of the god they worship, Brigdar. The leader of the guild holds this level as not only a representation of their skill, but also a guide toward what is possible at the pinnacle of their own smithing capabilities. The leader may choose their successor or, under other circumstances, the leader is selected by those of the blue flame. Those at this level smith for the greatest of the greats like heroes. The other type of person who maybe selected to achieve this level is the champion of the god of craftsmen, Brigdar. The champion is chosen by their god to help protect their methods and themselves. The champion is awarded this honor purely by being the selected champion as they protect not only the guild, but all those who pick up tools to craft.
