River Astoris

The second head librarian of Fizell. Although believed that she was human, people say their was a an odd aura to her, almost otherworldly. She was named by her parents for the small river that ran by her house and village. River lived alone while on Fizell and mostly spent her time reading books, as her village was raided and her parents killed in the attack, she was taken along with others to Fizell to start a new life. Arzinin noticed her and began speaking to her whenever he could. He asked her what could he do to help improve the Fizell, and she mentioned including a field for food, a forest for plant life and animals, and a lake for water, but also entertainment as she loved the water.
As she grew older, she began to help around town and the library, with both Arzinin and his assistant appreciating her help and insight. As Arzinin was nearing the end of his life, he asked for her to become the next head librarian and continue to help protect Fizell and let it grow. Although hesitant at first, she eventually accepted the role and the first passing of the position was done. Soon after Arzinin passed, she took up the title and began to expand on Fizell. She began her ideas on infrastructure, starting construction on what would be the fields, stargazer forest, and Astoris Lake, named after her. She truly expanded Fizell and helped lay the blueprint what it was to this day. She had the duty for many years, until she badly wounded on a mission, while retrieving more people for the city. She was able to return and had determined who would succeed her. She died from her wounds in Fizell, but she is still remembered as a great architect and helped shape the land.
