Magic Metal

Magic metals are native to the world of Xeros. They are one of the rarest materials in the world, with a small amount of magic metal worth more than an entire mine of jewels. They are very difficult to find and when does find them, they hold onto it for dear life until they can find one that has the skill to shape it. These metals come in variety of looks and has a particular element attached to it. Some varieties are harder to find than others, so there is some rarity among the types. These metals can be used to make and modify weapons, armors, magical items, etc.
Since first becoming known to mortals, people have coveted, stolen, and killed for this material. Although it is rare to find this material, it is also rare to find one that can actually work with this material. The only one in current day that is known to be a master of this metal is the current leader, and white flame rank, of the metal artisans, Keith Bronzearms of the Metal Artisans. If an inexperienced or average smithy tried to work with this metal, there is a high chance that they will die and the material lost.
A few items have been known to be made with the metal and all seem to have differing abilities based on the one who crafted it and the one who wields it. There have been incidents where these items have been saviors of the day or the causers of destruction. Everything from ever burning fires to distorting time and space have been recalled whenever these metals were involved. The price of such metals can range from 5,000 to 50,000 gold. Some question if certain items of heroes, villains, and other notable figures have had items which had these metals, which may have aided them in becoming powerful.
