The condition is not contagious.

Causes

Usually the only causes are if it runs in your family or/and old age.

Symptoms

The only symptom of Drainisim is the loss of your powers or that your powers get so weak that there is no use even trying to use them.

Treatment

The only treatment is special amulets made of mixing fire and ice together inside a normal locket. It is very dangerous though because some fire human has to go onto the ice side and get some ice. They usually only do this in secret during wars to get more warriors or for the royals who look better to citizens when they have their powers.

Prognosis

The condition is not fatal but, it doesn't go away unless you get treatment. You will have it until you pass away. There aren't really stages of Drainisim but, if you get it in your late 70's you might start losing your powers in your early 70's and they will get weaker and weaker until you fully lose them.

Affected Groups

Ice humans and Fire human can both have this condition. You usually get it at age 70-79 so if your family has had it and you turn 80 without it you have a celebration called a no drainer party.

Hosts & Carriers

If this condition runs in the family you will probably inherent it from them and it is celebrated if you don't get it.

Prevention

The best way to prevent Drainisim if it's in your family is to not use your powers much A.K.A only in a emergency or natural disaster. If it doesn't run in your family your probably fine but, some people don't use their powers much anyways just to be safe.

Epidemiology

Usually you will get Drainisim if it runs in the family but, depending on some things you will get it in your early 70's or late 70's. If you use your powers a lot in your early 70's you will probably get Drainisim in your early 70's. If you use your powers less in your 70's you will probably get it in your later 70's or not at all. You also might get this condition in your early 70's if you overused your powers when you were younger.

History

In the early years of Xenon no one had Drainisim but, as the years went on people would start having weaker and weaker powers when they got older. Soon people would lose their powers completely in their mid 70's but it took a few years to get that bad.

Cultural Reception

When people know that someone has Drainisim (because it is hard to tell) they usually don't fear that person but, tey fear having Drainisim.
