The Tapestry of Blood

The Tapestry of Blood is a prophecy that states that "The World shall be inherited by the horned fang-bearers, and all else shall fall to cinders." Many interpret this to be detailing an event (or series of events) by which the Tiefling people become the sole inheritors of Xelestar after all other peoples' passings. Some Tieflings believe this to be an indication of not needing to fear those opposed to their advancement as they will ultimately win whatever cosmic battle their people may be forced to participate in. Contrastingly, many use this prophecy and those who respect it as an example of there being an innate violence (and therefore, evil) in Tieflings. 
The remnants of the Tapestry were discovered during a deep excavation of desert rock in the area that would eventually be settled as Gildrake .
