Farfield

Rather than spend the resources necessary to colonize this stretch of land for the kingdom of Illyria, King Ioji Hyoga concluded that as long as no opposition to the stake Alberdae held on this land arrived by sea, little argument could be made that this western third of @boredid not already exist under his dominion. As a result, this land came to be known as Farfield and continues to exist as an understood territory of the Illyrian Kingdom. To further deter all would-be settlers, one town was sanctioned to exist by the use of royal funds at Farfield's end. This city on the coast would come to be known as " Laurelwood‌ " due to it's position as a clever victory against the land that seemed to exist in defiance of imperialistic outreach. "Laurels" being a symbol of victory, and "wood" being a synecdochical stand-in for the entirety of the nature around it. Any visitation to Laurelwood would have to come in the form of commerce to the greater of Alberdae lest it be seen as a means of invasion to the surrounding areas. For this reason, few claims have been made on the territory of Farfield as it now rests firmly between two areas of immediate Illyrian control and can not be encountered without traveling through these controlled lands.

The only other territory that exists as an autonomous unit in Farfield is the Tiefling Territory of @khon
