CASE 015: Civinkan Vessel||Mhiri Cultists

Mhiri's Cultists are known to be some of the most brutal and unforgiving demons of Xaritry. There are several upon several cases documented of murdered crews, stolen goods, and lost vessels that have been entirely at the fault of these Cultists.   One of the worst cases documented was CASE 015, which involved a small Civinkan Vessel transporting Stardust was hijacked by a band of Mhiri Cultists.   Previously, tensions between Civinko and the Cult of Mhiri had been as an all-time high as Civinko, in an attempt to protect its people, banned anyone belonging to either Mhiri or Rugiv's cult. This obviously provided an opening for Mhiri's cultists to act spitefully against Civinko. This case was one of the worst acts against the planet.   The Case itself was documented as follows:   On [Figure out that inter-system calendar first, dweeb], A Civinkan Cargo Vessel carrying Stardust was reported missing to the concern of the parent company responsible for shipping the contents to the planet's military forces. A thorough investigation found that the vessel in question was immensely off-course and attempts to contact the captain of the ship were met with mocking statements and profanities.   Fearing the worst, a fleet of Civinkan Guards was sent out to retrieve the vessel by force. Almost immediately upon realizing the situation, occupants of the Vessel violently attacked the Civinkan Military vessels, resulting in a battle between the Cargo Vessel and several Civinkan Military Ships. Two Civinkan ships were terminated before the Cargo Vessel was finally breached and reclaimed. Several Casualties beyond the crews of other terminated ships were had, marking about 28 deaths from the incident.   As it turned out, the Cargo Ship was Hijacked by Cultists belonging to the Celestial Being Mhiri, which were promptly arrested. A set punishment for their crimes is still yet to be decided. The original crew of the vessel were all severely injured and either succumbed to their injuries or needed replacements of limbs and vital organs. Not many of the crew members wished to talk about their experiences being held hostage by the Mhiri Cultists, however, the captain of the vessel was allowed an interview and reported what had happened for the sake of documenting the unfortunate events that unfolded in hopes that more would be done to stop such things from happening in the future.   "Never in my life had I felt such fear as what I felt once I lost control of the ship to those monsters. They beat us senseless. We starved. Most of us died at their hands. They laughed at our misery and gave us plenty more to keep us awake whenever we tried to sleep. I have drifted without fuel until I was within inches of my own life before this. I have grappled with the existential dread of being truly and totally alone with no way to call for help. I thought these self-imposed events that spawned my trauma gave me an experience of true fear, but I was wrong. There is nothing more horrifying than the behaviors of a being who actively wants to see you suffer. None of us will ever recover."   To compensate for the psychological and physical damage done to the crew, each member was given psychological and physical therapy and the expenses to heal them were covered by several Civinkan Households.   This case was released to the public on an internet forum documenting and gathering anti-cultist information and became an infamous piece of non-fictional media.
