Personal history
About 300 years ago when Ilzran still roamed the prime material plane frequently and Embervale was but a small town with a fairly young Half-Elf king (Taranath), Zorass became quite jealous of Ilzran's power and wealth and decided to attack a few settlements that were friendly to Embervale.
Besides attacking and killing many of the people in these settlements, she also decided to cast a few curses on them and the lands around them to torment Ilzran and Taranath more.
Some towns she cursed became corrupted forms of themselves, making monsters out of the inhabitants and transforming the towns into nightmarish landscapes. Others she cursed with plagues and other sickness' in an attempt to destroy Embervale with its own hospitality.
For nearly a decade she tormented Ilzran and Taranath with her evil deeds, getting more and more cruel as time went on, taking many precautions as to not get caught or ambushed by the red dragon and his Half-Elf friend.
Her time of reckoning came when she decided to attack Ilzran's new lair that held his wife, Ami, a blue dragon who happened to be pregnant at the time.
As Ami was quite weak from being pregnant she was easily slain, her body torn asunder.
Zorass then proceeded to destroy Ilzran's lair and any of his followers that were in it at the time. Nothing in the lair was spared, everything from the entrance to the sleeping quarters to the shrine dedicated to Bahamut the Platinum Dragon, everything was utterly destroyed.
After the deed was done, Zorass made for her lair where she cackled darkly to herself, like a witch would, till nightfall where she heard the loudest roaring of flames and Draconic cries of sadness she had every heard in her life coming from far in the distance, in the direction of Ilzran's lair.
Over the course of the next week she stayed in her lair, not wanting to leave the warded cavern in case Ilzran or any of his allies wanted to attempt Scry on her.
