Tincture of Tongues
An alchemical solution that allows the consumer to swiftly learn both the verbal and written forms of a previously unknown language. The Tincture can be administered multiple times to aid in the learning of more than one language thoughout one's lifetime.
History
The Tincture of Toungues was invented in 1087 DX by a Minos named Anthousa, who served as the Ascendant of Alchemy in Zominthos's Tower of Tomes from 1085 DX to 1104 DX, when the Tower was evacuated to save its knowledge from the invading Gorgorons during the Second Gorgorian March. Anthousa and her students were able to escape the coming onslaught, sheltered by the followers of Seshet in enclaves hidden within the Teeth of the Stars. There, Anthousa perfected the complicated process of distilling the Tincture, and taught the method to the followers of the Star Counter.
