Ee'dorvaal (ee-door-vahl)

The Nexi of Water

The lands of Ee'dorvaal are islands surrounding the Southern Elemental Nexi, the one that bleeds from the Elemental Plane of Water. The Vaal people who guard this Nexus are a liberal people, much like the Vaal people of Ven'duvaal. They are a people more concerned with flowing with all that life has to offer them then standing stalwart against it. Unlike their Western cousins, however, the people of Ee'dorvaal are not afraid of conflict, much like the raging waves of an ocean storm the Southern Vaal tribe relishes a good brawl. The island of Ee'dorvaal has been seen by sailors daring to venture too close to its borders and has been described as a fjordic and arctic landscape- a more extreme version of far Eastern Steithandahl with rushing rivers that turn to ice.

Very little overall is known about the Vaal people of the Nexi, their cultural practices, religion and day to day life remains a mystery to most in the 9 Realms due to the insular nature of the Vaal islands- very few tribesmen leave the islands of their home and even fewer still visit or join the mortal realms.
