Solid I.V.
Created as an affordable over the counter healthcare option on a similar level as a paracetamol or protein bar, BioSynth designed the Solid I.V. As its name suggests, similar to a saline intravenous infusion, Solid I.V. is a food product that mainly serves as a stopgap measure to prevent certain health issues, such as dehydration or various vitamin deficiencies. Solid I.V. acts as a minor one size fits all “medicine” that can alleviate the symptoms of everyday illnesses and potentially fully treat them if the sickness is mild enough.
The food is made by first making a normal saline I.V., done by making a solution of 0.9 grams of salt per 100 grams of sterilized and distilled water, and dissolving in it various other chemicals known for their use in medicines. After that, the solution is solidified then ground into fine powder and mixed into a fiber bar.
While it isn’t a one size fits all super food, it is highly nutritious but tastes like pure salt and is high in sodium, which could lead to health risks untreatable by Solid I.V..
