Day of Progress

The Day of Progress is an annual work holiday to celebrate the founding of X-City, as well as the work done by Leon Musket and X-Corp. It’s celebrated on the 7th of April every year.

To celebrate The Day of Progress, X-Corp holds a massive parade that travels through all of X-City. Employees are given the day off to flood the streets and observe the event. As a result of this parade, security throughout the city is largely increased to ensure that no tragedy occurs during the parade. Another measure to avoid this is the complete avoidance of A-Town during the parade. 

The parade sees performances by various popular music artists in the city, as well as other acts by various performers. The event begins with a speech given by the active chair of X-Corp, detailing the city’s successes and heralding an even brighter future. These speeches are also interspersed during the rest of the parade. At the end of the day, X-Corp unveils what they’re currently working on, serving as a major announcement day for everyone in the city.

Cleanup is done in real time by helper robots as a demonstration of their effectiveness.
