Circulatory Recycling Module

The Circulatory Recycling Module (CRM) acts as a stamina increasing module. Originally invented as a way to help those with respiratory problems, the CRM has taken on a new life ever since. Those with the means to do so have begun installing CRMs in order to take their stamina to new heights. This was incredibly popular among older members of the elite, finding themselves able to engage in physical activity they haven’t been able to since their youths. The CRM also serves as a means of strengthening the circulatory system, transforming a portion of carbon dioxide in the body back into oxygen.

The sports world in particular has suffered due to the advent of the Circulatory Recycling Module. Some have gone on to call it the bane of sports, and was one of the major reasons for splitting leagues into different tiers based on levels of cybernetic modification. Field sports that once saw athletes suffering from fatigue suddenly saw no one playing ever facing exhaustion, as their modifications simply regulated it for them. This caused a severe downturn in interest in the pastime, as it had become a matter of how much money an athlete could spend, instead of how much skill and dedication they possessed.
