Aninrae

Dragon God

Aninrae was born one of the first Dragons, and Progenitor of all non-Spirit Descendants of Ignethon. He is referred to as the "Dragon God" because he is the only Dragon known to possess a Soul. How he came to possess it is unknown, but it is believed that he obtained a Soul during the Age of Unity, having partaken of the Well of Animus, but this is strictly theoretical. However, thanks to his bearing a Soul, he is the only Dragon capable of Transformation, and thus is the forefather of many Dracolings. Technically, he is one of the ancestors of all Dracolings, as the False Dragons were the creations of the True, and thus all their children are descended from Dragons in one form or another.

Physical quirks

One of the things that makes all of the original Dragons different from their children is being Bipedal. They still obey the same morphological rules for Dragons, but they don't walk on all fours, instead having arms and hands for their forelegs.
