Vadis, God of Knowledge (Vah-diss)

(a.k.a. The Keeper)

Depicted in books and art as a human male, holding a book and quill wearing wizard robes. In the Overworld, Vadis takes the form of a human man usually dressed fairly smart. Wearing a set of glasses and often has a book.

Known as a the Keeper, Vadis’ followers called Keepers keep track of the on goings of the world. They run the libraries and the Tome, a coveted building full of mysterious tomes ranging from world history to knowledge you wouldn’t often find anywhere else. Privilege to the Tome is restricted to the commonfolk and access is granted to those who are deemed worthy of the knowledge by Vadis himself.

Vadis' divine domains are Knowledge and Winter. His symbol is an open Tome.

Notable Holidays

The Day of the Candles is widely regarded as a day celebrated for Vadis. It is a day where people put candles in the windows of their homes to light the way for good fortune for the coming Springyear, Summeryear and Autumnyear.
