The Homunculus, are a artificial species, that are created as a labor force, to be used in the fields, on industries, in construction areas, in other words on the heavy or undesirable labor, of other species.

As the Homunculus are artificially created, they don't have a Home World, so it's fair to say that they "Home World" is Midgard.

The Homunculus, normally don't live in their own villages, only when theyr owners, put them in a separate space, far from their villages.

To control the Homunculos, their owners "program" them to live for a month, and the only way to the Homunculus to live longer is to take either a pill that give them another month to live, or a injection with a serum that gives them a year to live.
