Walter Otto

The Deserter of the four Mk. V champions. Currently acting as the leader of the rogue Ontario cell of the Pandora Society, known as The New Earth Syndicate. He maintains a calm yet menacing demeanor and says little allowing his actions to speak more than his words. At some point pre-graduation, Walter exposed himself to the cosmos, to such depths that his left arm, pectoral, and upper side have been infected with an Abyssal parasitic life form. Using his Mystic Casting abilities, Walter over the years has slowed the growth and spread of the parasite, even communicated with it. The two share a delicate cat and mouse game with Walter able to keep his arm sealed and affixed to his side, which keeps the Abyssal at bay. While sealed Walter is able to syphon it's Spiritual energy, communicate with it, and use it's eye (located about 2.5 inches under his left collar bone) as another input for his own vision. However, if Walter chooses to unseal the Abyssal arm he gains the benefits of its own casting abilities as well as being able to synergize their spiritual energies. This comes at the cost of Walter losing more of himself to the parasite. Though even without relying on its power Walter alone is formidable for almost any opponent. Backed by the fanatical syndicate that reveres him as Godsend, Walter seeks to pave over any that stand against his foundation for the new world.

Walter believes that the human race needs to evolve if it's to survive. His exposure to the Cosmos and the Abyss has opened his mind to the horrors that await us beyond the stars. With little regard for the lives lost Walter wants to act quickly to bring forth the new age of mortal society, and buried the old one in the rubble left behind.
