Golden Tridenser Item in World of Wizard's Peak | World Anvil

Golden Tridenser

This holy blade was the first sword of my Lord Anam, the God of Justice. He forged it by His own hand in the days after he himself was forged. He gifted it to his greatest servant, the solar angel Raduriel. Over the ages it was lost then found by the Golden Tridenser King who became St T'kor. The symbol of the Five Tridensers is especially holy to we soulforged who are reborn beneath it's symbol.

We orcs had a millenium and a half of experience with them Tridenser swords, but from the wrong end! When one of them knights with the glowing swords showed up, the smart orcs knew to get their Az-damned butts out of there!

The Tridensers were a set of of Holy Avenger swords carved from a precious stone or metal. They were once the personal weapons of the god Anam. Over the millenia they were gifted to His greatest servants, angels, and paladins. During the Pax Lozaria, the full set of them were wielded by the Eternal Order of Tridensers for the Kingdom of Lozar, in service to the Church of Anam.

The most famous wielder of the sword was St. T'Kor, the Golden Tridenser King who ruled Lozar for the entirety of the Pax Lozaria. He earned the sword in the epic "Quest for the Golden Tridenser" that earned him the golden sword itself, the hand of the Princess Maryam, and the Kingship of Lozar.

He oversaw a literal Golden Age in Lozar that marked the longest period of continuous peace on the continent of Krosia. Eventually he and the other Eternal Tridensers perished at the end of the Lichwars. They were incinerated along with their capital city Kirinal in the Disintegration of Kirinal and their Tridenser Blades were lost with them.

Swords of Saints

In the years after the Lichwars the Eternal Tridensers were beatified, officially becoming demigods of Anam. During the War Against the Far Realm the newly divine Tridenser Saints were often seen leading celestial hosts against the Great Old Ones in the Divine Realms.

As demigods, the new Saints could not interact directly with mortals, but they were able to give them boons and divine favors. Like his Lord before him, St. T'kor showed his favor by gifting his favored avatar with the Golden Tridenser itself.

When the Far War ended, the Tridenser Saints passed beyond the Divine Gate, but they deliberately left their famous blades behind in the world. It is known that the Golden Tridenser is still on Erathia, waiting for a worthy hand to wield it.

The Tridenser Swords are the secret behind the Soul Forge. The power of the Ruby Tridenser pulls a soul from the Kirinal Pit at dusk and it is transmitted to the Silver Tridenser in Tridenser City. From there the soul goes to the Golden Tridenser that sits in the Soul Forge itself where it is reborn into a construct body. Every soulforged owes it's existence to the Tridensers.

Ooh, what an interesting artifact.   Possible Typo: You've got a close backet in ""Quest for the Golden Tridenser" that earned him the golden sword itself, the hand of the Princess Maryam], and the Kingship of Lozar." Maybe a remanant of some formatting?

Check out Natural Magic : a coming of age fantasy novel, because life is hard enough when you're fourteen, even without saving the world. Or listen to it in podcast form .
