The Alliance Auction House

Every large city of the Alliance is connected in many ways. A formal financial connection is made via the Alliance Auction House. This organization manages trade throughout the whole of the Alliance. Major cities like Ironforge, Darnassus, The Exodar and Stormwind each of have their own auction house buildings. Although trade in Azeroth can be organized on an individual level, many citizens like to make a profit via the tellers of the Alliance Auction House. At the auction house sellers can list their goods for a small fee where upon the local tellers will keep these goods of trade safe for a potential buyer. Interested buyers can visit the auction house and ask for an auction house inventory. Since all Alliance auction houses are connected within the same organization traders from all over Azeroth can buy each others goods. Possible buyers visit the auction house looking for materials for their crafts, rare mounts and pets, buying and trading, or just for the kick of it. Many heroes of the Alliance make a deal with an auction house connoisseur. These deals help adventurers to focus on their travels while they can send their spare goods to an auction house business partner. The Alliance auction house is not accessible for members of the Horde or their goods. When people are looking to buy materials from other factions they visit the more dodgy goblin run auction houses of the Steamwheedle Cartel
