Chief of the Wizards’ Council, the official organization before the creation of the Ministry of Magic. Her death would spark the creation of the MoM, championed by Maurice Dolnere, whom she was very close to in her life.

Personal history

Grew up around politics, so her future involvement could be prophesized from a young age.
Became involved with Maurice Dolnere after the death of his wife, though they knew each other before. They remained friends, and any physical relationship between them was only mere rumor.

Elfrida had a draw to change, which lead her to making the first steps into creating what would become the Ministry of Magic. Because of her involvement with Maurice, after her death, he would be a champion in the creation of the Ministry of Magic.

Education

Attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin. Earned several OWLs and NEWTs, and the respect of her peers. Men in leadership positions did not like her involvement with politics and tried to cut her out, but she was a force to be reckoned with.

Employment

Chief of the Wizards’ Council, which would then become the Ministry of Magic after her death.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Redefined the classification of Beings and Beasts by declaring that all those magical creatures that could speak the human tongue were Beings.
