Alyona Blaidd Volkov- Gorlois
Alyona Gorlois, One of the twelve 7th years who defeated her Step-Aunt Morgan Le'Fey in 1028, she was the most adept Magical Creature tamer of her time & a skilled witch.
Wielding the Wolves Howl, She managed to capture the spirits of her two dogs, after her cousin Yawain Le'Fey slayed the canines in a Grusome fashion. Hatii and Sköll are two spirits that manifest within the wand, and protect Alyona...Or any one of the chosen wielders of the Wolves Howl.
Studying Magical Creatures, she documented many a beast on the english countryside for several years out of Hogwarts. She created a small area beneath the school to house a few of those creatures for further study. This became known as Alyona's Rest.
In 1033AD, She was approached by an Friend and fellow Gryffindor alumni Horacio Gryffindor. She was to go undercover at a Wedding between Raoul Delacour & Coraline Weasley, alongside Xander Du Lac. A large scale coup d’état Between the main and branch Weasley clans was underway, and to severe stop bloodshed, Horacio needed people he could trust. It was at this Wedding she met Olec Volkov & Valentina Volkov. Olec would later that year become Alyona's husband & Valentina would become the wife to Xander Du Lac.
In 1035AD Alyona and her Husband made an excursion into the Russian Tundra to hide Morgan Le Fey's blade. They hid it in a Volcano, however on the long journey back, Olec was infected with a powerful version of Lycanthropy by the evil witch Baba Yaga. He would remain shifted until every new moon, in which he would have 24 hours to be himself once again.
Alyona and Olec Had one child:
Grigori Volkov - Born 1037AD on the New Moon, He was born a Werewolf with the same extreme Lycanthropy
By 1037AD, she had transformed Alyona's Rest into a chamber to house & study Lycanthropy to cure both her husband and her ailing newborn.
in 1038AD, She contacted Ophélie Gaunt, one of the only people she could trust, one who wasnt afraid to get her hands dirty. They left their children in the care of her close friend Savannah Kay, who at the time created an orphanage. The two set off to the Russian Tundra to find Baba Yaga for a cure.
The two were gone for a year, Ophélie Gaunt returned in 1039AD, without Alyona & carrying the Wolves Howl. Ophélie Gaunt had returned missing her left hand.
Ophélie Gaunt's recount of the events were as follows:
Alyona and Ophélie searched for Baba Yaga for 6 months.
Upon finding her, Baba Yaga refuses to give a cure. The three witches have a duel to the death. Alyona and Ophélie came out triumphant.
Baba Yaga cursed Alyona with an unkown curse before laughing and dying.
The two became seperated and Ophélie Wandered the tundra for 6 Months, losing her hand to frostbite. Seemingly unable to Apparate away due to strong magical interference
Upon almost giving up hope, she finds the area where they sealed the sword, only to find an old Witch there, who looked alot like an older Alyona.
She laughed with the same laugh as Baba Yaga did before, next thing Ophélie knew, she woke up in a small cottage with the Wolves Howl, a notebook, a small vial of something called Wolves Recall and was able to apparate once again.
The notebook contained Russian scribbles on how to create Wolves Recall
Upon returning, Wolves Recall was used on Olec Volkov & Grigori Volkov. Both's Lycanthropy were quelled to be the standard variant. Grigori and Olec ended up moving to the base of the Volcano, and starting a Homested there, hoping to find his wife.
in 1060AD Alyona's son Grigori found Alyona's remains, Looking no younger then what she was in 1038AD, Frozen in the spot where she dueled Baba Yaga. He Buried her in a tomb at Alyona's Rest.
