Elf
A Humanoid species that was created by Ruler to be an ideal example for the rest of the World of Mortals. They form good and ideal societies in the Feywild with the guiding of Ruler, with one each one acting on a guiding set of moral principles instead of a set of laws, living in harmony with the nature of the Feywild. Elves that went to the World of Mortals form lawful societies with strict laws, a product of the Great War, while elves that fled into the Shadowfell were corrupted by the nature of the plane, becoming more evil and twisting their natural instincts to become slavers. They are blessed by Geltham with a greater connection to magic, and instead of dreaming they trance, receiving images of the Feywild, High Centaurs, Sprites, and beautiful forests during their childhood, and when they've matured they start recieving visions of the Feywild courts. These visions taunt the elves in the Shadowfell, images of beauty unobtainable for them, and provide elves in Suthphor with a possible idea of the future, as there is rumor of a permanent portal that still exists somewhere in the Ashland, somewhere that they can reach if they brave the dangers of the Ashland, although there are possible other natural gates that open up on other continents.

History
They were created by Ruler to be an ideal example for the rest of the World of Mortals. Ruler saw magic, and saw that it could be a great boon and pleaded with Geltham to bless his creation with a higher connection to magic, and Geltham obliged. They formed good and ideal societies in the Feywild with the guidance of Ruler, with one each one acting on a guiding set of moral principles instead of a set of laws, living in harmony with the nature of the Feywild, until Ruler decided to spread that welfare and finally fulfill the elves' purpose. The elves performed a ritual, draining most of the innate magic from their kind, except for the ones in power, creating gates between the Feywild and main body of the World of Mortals. Elves that went to the World of Mortals arrived on an uninhabited location on the northern part of Belahir, where is now the Ashlands and created a kingdom there, cities and palaces built in a matter of weeks. They chose that place because it was uninhabited and seemingly unclaimed, however they did not know that the kingdom of Belahir had claimed the whole continent of Belahir. This led to the first large scale war between two Humanoid species, the Great War. Belahir attacked first, ruining many of the cities and palaces that the elves had built, and the elves, not expecting any pushback, expecting to be welcomed in as a bright and glorious example of a kingdom, decided that they must be savages, not worthy of their gifts, and promptly unleashed hell upon them. Leveraging their higher connection to magic, they created high level spells for their druids and wizards and destroyed the armies that came through the mountain passes on the north and south of the continent. Having now conquered the extremities, they were kept at bay by the mountains, unused to cold or mountainous climates and therefor unable to climb them. Belahir magicians used this time to conjure cold elementals and bombard their cities and armies from the mountains, until one of the elvish high mages devised a spell to cause a drought for the kingdom of Belahir. The casting required many days, and sacrifices from a few of the high mages, but in the end, they set upon the kingdom of Belahir a drought that was supposed to last a thousand years. In response, Belahir summoned two demon princes from low regions of The Abyss, one of which to end the drought, which it did by carving out the Strait of Belahir, and the other to decimate the elvish armies, which it did by causing the area just north of the mountains to erupt with lava, killing all of the elven armies in the north and making the land useless to the north by blanketing it with cursed ash, creating both the Lava Barren and Ashland, which persist to this day. The demons were then banished before they could destroy the world further. Elves in the south immediately made peace and blocked off the mountains more, creating many layers of magical barriers around the kingdom, creating their own kingdom, Suthphor, deciding that the goal of their race is unobtainable, or at least foolish and dangerous to pursue. Elves in the Ashland fled through recently opened portals into the new Shadowfell, where they were the corrupted and pushed out the native species of the Night Hags and made smaller, less powerful cities and kingdoms with a slave trade.
