Background

Consisting of a ream of nearly fifty handwritten pages, the Fragments were submitted to Miskatonic University by their author Dr. Laban Shrewsbury at some point during 1915. The doctor wrote the Fragments from memory after a series of (purported) visits to the Great Library of Celaeno, located in a star system in the Pleiades.
