The host of Red Noº 5, Bennett Steadman is a young Caitiff that has found himself with an enormous amount of influence within Chicago. Steadman keeps a careful eye over Red Noº 5, watching over the clientele and ensuring the right type of people are let in.
Steadman has had very fleeting interactions with the coteries that operate in modern nights. When the Lasombra, Sierra and Malenkov were welcomed into Chicago, Malenkov broke off and caused a slaughter within Red Noº 5. Steadman tried to stop the brute Lasombra, only to be driven into torpor. The Undecided Coterie would watch Steadman make his statement when Sheriff Damien arrived to investigate. Steadman would interact with Elyse, introducing her with one of the owners of Red Noº 5, Adze - facilitating a deal between the two.
Finally, Steadman was questioned by Trinity and Silvana in their investigation into Sarah Perterson. In exchange with a date with both Kindred, Steadman would tell the two that Sarah's boyfriend Lil' Gonzie performed at Red Noº 5. Afterwards they got into a scuffle with the Latin Kings, only for Steadman to kick them out before things got out of hand. Gonzie and Sarah left to go back to Gonzie's house for an after party.
