The Malkavian would find themselves in first gaining attention from then Prince Joseph Peterson in his extremely short reign. The Prince saw something Alexa's deadly side and found them perfect for the role of Hound within Chicago. When Prince Jackson took over, Alexa's stellar record allowed them to not only remain in the position but to ascend as Magnus Canus (the leader of the Hounds). One of their first tasks was to take down the notorious Ventrue Kindred, Alphonse Gabriel Capone. They would destroy the Ventrue icon, securing their position even further.
Alexa's next ascent up the ladder would be after the explosion in Chicago University. With the Sheriff, Damien, meeting the Final Death, Alexa found themselves acting as interim Sheriff for a time before eventually being confirmed as the new Sheriff of Chicago. A position they maintain to this night, though with the losses of Damien and disappearance of Wauneka - Chicago's Hounds find themselves in a weakened position.
Their connection with the various coteries of Chicago's modern nights is essential, especially with the Hounds in the vulnerable state they currently are. Alexa would have interactions with the Asylum Coterie. Most notably writing up a report for the Power Players of Chicago during the Fracturing on both the Asylum Coterie and The Seven Flames. Alexa would help form the Young Undead coterie by bringing them together for the first time to investigate attacks at a park in Chicago.
