The clan of the
Beast is on tentative footing within the
Camarilla these nights. With the departure of former Gangrel
Justicar, Xaviar, from the Ivory Tower - many of his fellow clan-mates have followed him. As such, most Gangrel within these modern nights are treated with suspicion and typically are not trusted. As is the case with Rowena within London.
The Gangrel pup is the current
Sheriff of West London and carries with her a hefty reputation. She is aggressive and runs a tight ship when maintaining the Masquerade, upholding Camarilla law. Her methods may seem - crude or even barbaric to some other Kindred, but few can argue with the results. West London is practically
Duskborn and
Anarch free; with many who travel those circles knowing the reputation that Rowena has. Due to this reputatoin however, Rowena is often at odds with her fellow Sheriffs.
Queen Anne herself shows little love for the West London Sheriff, questioning her at times barbaric methods. But once again, Rowena's dedication to upholding Camarilla law causes the Queen to take pause when the question arises to replace her. Plus, it isn't a bad idea to have a powerful and dangerous Gangrel on the Camarilla's side. Rowena is often used in court when a particularly troublesome Kindred needs to be taught a tough lesson - or meet the final death.
