Conclave of Prague

The Conclave of Prague or Convention of Prague was an international gathering ceremony held by the highest rankings of the Camarilla in 2012. During this conclave, the Anarchs claim the Camarilla meddling with the world's national governments are responsible for the Second Inquisition, while the Camarilla blame the Anarchs for their use of the Internet and other modern technology.

Brujah clan led by Theo Bell revolted against the Ventrue, launching a surprise attack and killing many of the sect's luminaries. Hardestadt himself was the first victim of the ambush, having his face blown clean off by a shotgun loaded with dragon's breath ammo in the opening seconds of the battle. Jan Pieterzoon was reportedly also among the deaths. After the incident, the Brujah declared they were departing for the Anarch Movement and left the Camarilla en masse.

While many in the Camarilla had long considered the Anarchs to be a part of their own sect, that sentiment ended on this night. The Ventrue essentially declared war on the Anarchs, and it was about at this point that they added the Roman Gladius to their clan symbol.

"Anarchs" are considered anyone associated with the Movement, as well as all thin-bloods, Caitiff, and autarkis Kindred. No vampire of 14th Generation or higher is welcome within the Camarilla any longer. The Anarchs agree to uphold only one of the Traditions: The Masquerade, and an uneasy peace is established, but the city is considered ground zero for the War of Ages.
