Humankind/Humanity

The Mystical World relies on Humankind to power the magic on Earth. And so when it falters, Humans are at fault. And many say that Humankind are agents of “The Darkness”.
This is certainly a false statement! Humans may be guilty of causing destruction, death, food shortages, killing Mother, hating on people different than them, spewing false truth, and more but they also are redeemable. Humanity, as a whole, is very contradictory.
Humanity’s actions of this nature do not power magic (least the Light Side).
The Darkness Faction is powered by this though.
Members of this faction want all of their counterparts destroyed and the realm gone so they can rule. Unfortunately, Hope does not allow this.
Mother Gaia and Ouranos wouldn’t allow her body to be used for evil, demonic or otherwise. The only reason both have allowed Humans to do the amount of damage they’ve done is that they have chosen not to interfere with them.
Humans caused much suffering in the First High Age of Ancient Power. Especially throughout the latter hundreds of years as things went from bad to worse. The species caused much more destruction of habitats, deaths (accidental and purposeful) from wars, and whole messes on Earth.
All this destruction is why the lack of love and hope and kindness in Humans cause the mystical world to leave Earth. Except the Guardians. Humans then slowly forgot about magic. Some of them try to change the entire species. Let’s say they aren’t doing too well.
Santa and the others try to keep the children’s hopes and dreams alive. Children are what are called “True Believers”. It is the adults that continually cause more hopelessness and destruction.
Let’s tell the truth here. Adults have caused every problem passing it down to the next generation of humanity. Not all adults are bad. Though more are bad than not.
