Believer-Class Sleighs
The Believer-Class of Santa’s Sleighs are the sleighs that are used on Christmas Eve to deliver toys. These are part of The Sleigh Transportation Network of Claus and Christmas. Along with the other classes, this entire set of sleighs reside at Christmas and Claus Sleigh Coach Housing Complex which is next door to Christmas and Claus Animal Residences.
Also known as Christmas Sleighs or Santa Sleigh or S-1or Believer, this class has common features the other classes don’t have.
These include a Fairy Dust Compartment, Time Bubble, Positioning Globe, Stealth Shock Absorbers and Silencing Skids, a stand for the Naughty or Nice Book/List, and a compartment for Santa’s Sack.
Christmas Sleighs have enchanted Stealth Shock Absorbers and Silencer Skids. The shock absorbers help to ensure safe and quiet rooftop landings. The Silencer Skids are magic-enhanced runners that carry the sleigh on the snow with barely a whisper.
The stand for the Naughty or Nice Book/List allows Santa to double check the nice and naughty lists as he completes his rounds. This help to check it twice so kids won’t be missed.
The back half behind the driver’s seat is the compartment for Santa’s Sack, another magical item used only on Christmas Eve.
Besides a place for Santa’s food and reindeer treats on the dashboard, we should discuss the three magical parts of S-1.
The first is the Positioning Globe. This mystical globe is of Earth hanging between two beams of light. The pulse of red light on it points to Santa’s location at any given moment. It is located on the dashboard.
However, a bigger version is kept in various buildings in Christmas Town Central District so whoever want to can track his progress as well.
The next thing is the Time Bubble from Father Time.
Father Time did not create many items but he had to help Nicholas who can only work one night a year for 30/36 hours. It starts at midnight on Christmas Eve in Asia and through dawn on Christmas Day in the Americas.
Father Time's Bubble of Time is a spherical ball attached to the sleigh's dashboard next to the positioning globe.
The actual spherical bubble holds some of the Mystical Sand of Time given to Father Time by his father. Once Santa spins it, the whole world slows way down leaving more than enough time for Christmas Eve deliveries.
This third item is not on the sleigh but rather in the glove box where it's safe.
Inside the glove box on the dashboard, a Fairy Dust Compartment allows for extra bags of Fairy Dust in case the situation warrants it. It was always a place that wasn't needed until magic started to lose its' place in the world.
The fairies, escpecially the Fairy Royalty, knew they must help Nicholas while they were gone. They gave bags of fairy dust to help him in casse he should need it.
It is not used post-2020 for Fairy Dust.
Santa’s Sleigh usually is reserved for special events or on oifficial duties. Nicholas will always ask his go-to guy/girl if he wants them to make sure it's safe.
There have been two types of Christmas Sleighs. The first is well-known. It is the sleigh commonly used in movies (RANKIN-BASS and DISNEY does this one) and tv which is the sack in the back and Santa must step up to sit and drive.
The other one, seen in a few movies (CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES-NETFLIX), is the longer sleigh lower to the ground. Santa looks like he’s on the ground and the List/Book is behind in the Sack Compartment.
Santa Claus’s Sleigh List
Former Christmas Eve Sleigh - Christmassy decorative (Santa Claus: The Movie) Wooden sleigh featuring toys and holly carved from side to side along the back. Holly is carved below and above the toys. There are two lamps for light as well by the steps. Former Christmas Eve Sleigh – Christmassy decorative (Santa Clause 1) Gold and Green painted sleigh featuring a bell in front and two snowflakes right before steps to get into sleigh. Right after step, a deer and a star are featured. And right on outside of cargo hold are angels as if they protect the sleigh and bag on the flight ‘round the world. Sleigh and its’ updated version - Former Christmas Eve Sleighs - (Rod Green – Santa Claus and Reindeer books) A) Colored in green and gold and red. Sleigh is mostly colored in green with the outside and runners in gold. On both sides sit a compass rose with a big red dot in center and smaller dots surrounding the rose. B) This sleigh is the younger sister. Besides the size of the sleigh and the rose and the stars, this sleigh also has the addition of decorative scrolling. Former CE Sleigh – (NORTHPOLE 1&2) Current CE Sleigh for Nicholas - (Polar Express) Red sleigh covered in green fabric CE Sleigh (?) – (CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES Series– NETFLIX) This design is different. The sleigh is made of wood and lengthened. It also is lower in height. When Santa sits, it is as if he’s on the roof/ground. The List/Book is behind on a book holder stand in the Sack Compartment. A reindeer hood ornament rests at the front of the sleigh. Baxter’s Sleigh from Santa Ceremony - This sleigh has wooden and steel runners with a wooden “bush bar” to connect the reindeer and sleigh together. Colored red on the outside body and green inside, this vehicle also is higher in the back compartment. On the sleigh is light leaf scrolling on the sides. Interior has one decorated bench outfitted with comfy material filled with red hexagon outlined by green stripes.Power Generation
All sleighs have no power instead they help the Spirit of Christmas to power the village and the deliveries every year.
Propulsion
All sleighs are powered by Christmas and Claus Flyers or Unicorns or other mythical animals.
Believer-Class Sleighs are only pulled by Santa’s Sleigh Team.
