The Von Clark Manuscript

A Discredited Naturalist

The Von Clark Manuscript is a document alleged to be created several decades ago by an inventor named Clark Von Clark.
Something of a self-styled naturalist, Von Clark inserted many findings into the public sphere that were deemed to be hoaxes within his lifetime.
Still, many of his works continue to capture the imaginations of people. The Von Clark Manuscript is one such work. It is described to have contained descriptions and drawings of fantastical creatures: surreal, and depicted without fixed forms.
Additionally, it was said to be written in an unknown language that defied traditional and magical translation attempts.
The original document is said to be destroyed. Some legends say it was destroyed by a spurned lover of Von Clark. Only one surviving page exists which is an illustration of vaguely worm-like creatures that Von Clark claimed to exist on a microscopic level within certain infested creatures.
