Report 2

Honored Gutbuster Elders,   We have successfully completed our first guild assignment. Secundum acquitted himself well during the venture. His only real limitation seems to be an inability at times to focus on the task at hand. Again, I believe this is due to his over indulgence. When focused he was very observant, nimble, and handy with his weapon. But, there were times when his attention strayed and he was clumsy and witless. He even had some trouble handling his axe. Treating it like some dainty twig. The orc and the wizard also performed well for the most part, but their inexperience was also evident. We may have run off the second bard assigned to the group. She went to the latrine after our introductions and never returned. Keeping anybody with intelligence and refinement as a companion may be too much of a challenge for this group. In your service, as always, Jarudum G.

Report 1

Honored Gutbuster Elders,   Our arrival at the guild hall went as well as could be expected. Secundum attempted to deliver our product as he was tasked. The guild however was unaware of the shipment so he shared it with the members and new recruits. This created a bit of a commotion, as many of them were not accustomed to the strength of our drink and became disorderly until the guildmaster made an appearance. We were quickly accepted into the guild and teamed with some other new prospects. One of whom is a brooding hulk of an orc. Between Secundum and that individual missions that require brute force should not prove too challenging. Fortunately, a catfolk who seems quite knowledgeable, clever, and good with words was also assigned to our group and he was able to assuage the concerns of the attending guild representatives over the distraction caused by Secundum’s injudicious generosity. It appears a wizard who had not yet arrived at the guild hall will also be assigned to us. We have received our first task. It seems some noblewoman inattentively dropped a precious ring through a grate and into the city’s sewers. We have been dispatched to retrieve it. I request that you deny Secundum access to our beverage for the duration of this sojourn. This will not only diminish the danger to his health but will likely hasten the maturation you seek before his ascendance to the post you have selected for him. I will send updates as noteworthy events occur. I am humbled by the confidence you have shown by entrusting me with this duty. In your service, as always, Jarudum G.
