Mara Claft

Mara Claft was born Jennifer Graziano in New York City, NY to an Italian/Mexican American father career criminal and a German/Spanish immigrant grocery store stocker. Jennifer's dad was between stints in jail when she was conceived. Her mother has intellectual disabilities which made her childhood complicated. Jennifer struggled through school as she was not given direction at home and was behind when she started school. When she hit middle school her mom got pregnant again by her dad, before he went back to prison as part of an attempted jewelry robbery. She ran away from home. She spent much of her high school years dodging gang-acitivy and offers for prostitution. She eeked out a life with a pseudo-adoptive father who was in his late 50s. This adoptive father gave her her own personal room for the first time of her life, provided her with money to get clothes, books, and provided assistance with homework. Jennifer learned 3 weeks before he died that he had terminal cancer. He arranged for all of his assets to be transferred to her after his death. It wasn't much, but she was happy to accept. Jennifer happened to run into one of Wanda's recruits at a job fair. Wanda offered her a lucrative contract, and Jennifer accepted. She isn't thrilled with the outfit, the character flirtations or the oogling she gets from the soldiers. She decided to stay longer when Dr. Meins joined and was able to start therapy for her. Jennifer's character is Mara Claft a similar character to Lara Croft, but with a softer persona. Mara recently achieved an 7th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. Her overall weapons training includes knives, tonfas, bo staff, pistols, rifles, rocket launchers, and grenades. She is proficient in driving military humvees, tanks, and can pilot transport or civilian aircraft.
