Jormungandr

Jormungandr showed up randomly in the world recently. Originally reports of a giant sea-beast showed up in the Barents Sea, followed by earthquakes in Scandanavia. Shortly thereafter naval submarines from various countries reported a gigantic creature swimming incredibly fast through the Atlantic and Mediterranean. More earthquakes in Egypt, then various reports of large numbers of Orcas, sharks, whales, and other large marine animals disappearing. Ocean levels rose 2 feet the day he appeared and fall a foot when he is seen on land. Some seismologists have suggested that both Europe and Africa have experienced a few inches of tilt when Jormungandr partially "beached" himself. One seismologist has suggested Jormungandr could crack a continent in half if he fully pulled himself onto land. Publicly, his whereabouts are currently unknown.
