Gary Barnes is a born and raised New Orleans resident. Gary's parents were a housewife and a fireman. Gary was raised to believe in service. Gary is a devout Catholic and a loyal police officer. He takes his oath to serve and protect very seriously. He believes in being a good cop over protecting his fellow officers who do malfeasance. Gary is well-respected in the New Orleans police department. He has passed over multiple promotions to remain a beat cop. Gary married his wife Olina who was a child of immigrants from the Eastern European evacuation shortly after WW2.
