Aeces (A - sees)

Aeces is a siren bodyguard of Crown Prince Baltic Pike. He serves the royal Pike Family in the Asmya Kingdom. What he never lets anyone know is his past. The little that is known is Aeces was abused by his brother, who left him for dead. Aeces was then put into an orphanage where he joined the Grim Afi when he turned 18 years. About five years later, he was granted the chance to become the bodyguard of the Crown Prince.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Aeces has a strong, stocky frame with a bunch of scars covering his body, most notably the one on his right eye. He has the facial tattoos of a military siren and keeps his hair brushed out of his face at all times.

Special abilities

As a siren, Aeces can sing a melodic note that causes people to become hypnotized and under his control. Aeces hates his methods and would rather use his fighting style to subdue an opponent than anything else.

Apparel & Accessories

He wears heavy, thick armor of fur coats and leather mixed with layers of chain mail. The fur cloak on his back is designed to help him blend into his surroundings and help mask him at night.

Gender Identity

While Aeces presents as masculine and says that he is male, Aeces has been questioning this for quite some time. He feels uncomfortable in his body often and likes feminine clothing. Until Aeces feels at home with what he identifies with, he'll continue saying he's male and using he/him pronouns.

Sexuality

Aeces may be questioning his gender, but he knows for a fact that he's only into women. Now, the new question he asks himself is "Does this make [...me...] a straight or a lesbian, depending on [...my...] future gender identification?"

Education

Aeces barely attended primary school for sirens aged 6 - 19 years. Instead, he spent most of his time sneaking off to watch the soldiers train, wishing to be just like them. Women were never allowed to join men on the battlefield as their time was to be spent raising a family and taking care of the care home. When Aeces turned 18 years, he took to the training fields and enlisted.

Employment

By the time Aeces turned 19 years, he was a full-time military officer and helped on the battlefield or trained recruits whenever they would arrive. He quickly rose through the ranks and earned the attention of his Commanding Officer to take up secret missions. These missions were dark and harbored horrific acts. Oftentimes, Aeces would return to the barracks changed, like something in him was broken. He never spoke about what he did, just that the job was complete.
After many years of service, Aeces was granted an opportunity he could not turn down. Following his Commanding Officer's advice, he accepted the proposal of becoming a bodyguard for the Crown Prince. Though, after a few years of being a bodyguard, Aeces wished to return to the military and his former job. When he completed those dark missions, Aeces always felt at home. Now, he only feels stuffy and closed in.
