Steel Witches

Hailing from the Ironbark Forests, the Steel Witches have gotten themselves involved in the eternal War of the Wands. Clad in thick robes of black chainmail and sporting heavy face-hardened pointy hats, these women are able to shrug off all but the most destructive of spells as they trudge their way between the Hyperbolic Trenches.
Two rival covens face off against each other here, one declaring themselves for the Red Hats, the other for the Blue Hats. Though few in number and slow of step, their nigh invulnerability to low-level spells and their high-calibre curses often make them a deciding factor in any skirmish they enter into. If the distant cackle of a Steel Witch is heard across the din of war, wizards are advised to make a controlled retreat. If two rival Steel Witches ever meet on the field, all wizards are advised to seek shelter immediately to avoid the flying curse splinters ricocheting of each other's pointy hats.
