Promenade of Statues

Although the Wizarchs of Dark Icarr can live for a long time, so far they have never been truly immortal. Almost of them are commenorated with a bust on the Prominade of Statues. Due to the sheer number of busts that have been raised there over the years, ever more potent and complex enchantments are needed to lengthen the prominade which is currently about 23 miles long. The city fragment on which it sits, meanwhile, is only 9 miles long. Thinking about what might happen if the enchantments were to fail is enough to give any Civil Infrastructure Wizard nightmares.
All the busts are provided by Madame d'Mairres, a sculpture workshop located in a quiet part of Feynes District. Busts of the first few dozen Wizarchs, while of good quality, had only a passing resemblence to the great wizards they were meant to depict. Subequent busts were remarkably life-like, even disturbingly so, with gazes that seem to follow anyone who makes the long trip down the Promenade.
